Fox, first they came for One America News and you said nothing, then they came for Newsmax and you said nothing. Now only you are left. How much time do you think you have? We canceled Direct TV today, effective next week, going with Xfinity since Dish is battling local Atlanta stations right now. Would get rid of AT&T internet if there was a replacement in our area. Already dumped their cell phone service last year.

I don't think the title is correct, DirecTV seems to have temporarily stopped showing Newsmax, channel 349 is still listed along with the current show guide.

Methinks this is Newsmax and DirecTV negotiating over fees, etc.

This happens from time to time with various channels.

Yesterday, my good friend from Ohio, (my former home) and I were talking. Ironically, she said she simply can NOT watch FOX anymore and has gone to Newsmax thru AT&T and loves it! I explained that we don’t get it in our area of SC. This morning she texted me and said it had been removed from the AT&T lineup. She said, who does this benefit……..FOX.

Newsmax streams free on multiple free streaming platforms.

But people keep on wasting money subscribing to services like DirectTV to watch many programs they can get for free, including free over the air channels. They just fork out the cash.

Happens every year over one or more local channels or networks (ABC/NBC/CBS) and the big cable or satellite providers.

The particular network “goes dark” for a week or so until they settle for a lower payment.

We dumped ATT because of CNN. You should look into Starlink, Elons ISP system. I doubt they will dump FNC. Why would they? They are as bad as the rest 90% of the time.
