Happens all the time in the real world. It’s called ‘taking a haircut’ in the business world. But in the socialist entitlement world, I realize that leftwingers would rather do anything than do that.
Forced, yes, but they did vote for people that kept growing that system instead of reforming. We or our children may go a different direction, I doubt it, but I desire it. Just because you believed in a ponzi scheme does mean that we still do. You elected people that said we will take your money and give it to other people, vote for us. Maybe we just cut the stealing from the producers to enough to cover a ratio of 1/6 instead of the current ration of 1/2, payers to consumers. The demographics demand a change. But I guess printing, paying out and inflation is an easier pill for people to swallow. But please just stop bitching about inflation if you refuse to touch entitlements.
