The government is taking away their farms and sending them to Siberian labor camps?
The Wagner Group are convicts who will become freemen after they complete their enlistment. The Cossacks were serfs who became freemen after they completed their enlistment. As adventurers and fur traders, the Cossacks went on to conquer Siberia and the Russian Far East for the czar.
