I have an AK. One of the “good” ones too. A Maadi, with wooden furniture. Total POS - like every other AK I”ve ever shot.
Inaacurate, clunky, thuddy recoil and no modularity for adding glass and accessories. Mo universality to any parts/componants.
Plus - that they’re so reliable is truly a WIVES tale. Cannot tell you how many mag jams I’ve seen... and complcations from crappy steel ammo most use.
Least reliable rifle I own.
Thanks, you’ve answered the question I was just about to ask. Another POS from the communist bloc.
Yeah, thats not a good one. I love mine!
I shoot my MAK-90 pretty often with 20 and 30 rd mags. I dont even mess with the drum. Dont jinx me but it has never missed a beat firing or cycling and shoots as fast as you can finger the trigger. I can keep everything on a body sized target at 150 yds with optics and closer in it shoots where you naturally point it. Maybe I have some Russian blood in me way back?
I’ve got a Bulgarian AK 74. Accurate up to 200 meters right out of the box. Never had a jam. Totally reliable. Hella rifle. I love shooting it and its a nasty little round you would not want to get shot with. Would not sell it for any amount of money.
Yeah, but makes a great club & looks scary.
