If Trump couldn’t stop ballot fraud when he was freakin President of the United States, with appointment power over DOJ, FBI and DHS, how is he or any other GOP candidate going to do it as an outsider?
Ballot fraud is primarily a state problem!
Recent USSC rulings pretty much say that. I don’t completely agree with that interpretation, but I understand where they are coming from. If state voters are ok with state voter fraud, then so is the court. I do not want a federally imposed solution - control of voting any more than what currently exists. I think in the long run that would be more dangerous than the current problem.
However, let me just say this, voting integrity is just as much a form of denying the right to vote as what was done to minorities in the South prior to the Voting Rights Act. Perhaps the cases to the USSC were never pitched to them in that form of argument.
