I waited almost 2 hours for a rental car at the airport over the weekend. The rental agent came out with an offer to hook me up with an EV and get me going. I declined and told him I’ll wait for a gas vehicle. When asked why not I told him I don’t want to get stranded looking for an electrical outlet.
I bet the meals for the attendees were made on gas stoves and included meat and dairy products from flatulent cows. Private jets and SUV limos…total hypocrisy. I’m getting an armored umbrella to ward off rain bombs.
During World War 2 fatal training crashes in the USAAF became by 1942, so numerous, largely due to the speedo tempo imposed to produce as many minimally qualified pilots in as short period of time as possible, that the US government banned local newspapers from printing news of such events, making crashes ‘classified’. Of course locals couldn’t be stopped in talking about the plane they go down in a flat spin or the bomber that ran right into a moutain top. The ‘war info’ bureaucrats tried to get local elites to talk down to the locals and use the ‘loose lips’ bs slogan to keep locals from talking it didn’t work much to some local hacks displeasure.
During this period Charles Lindberg had a conversation with a USAAF two star who commanded a large aircrew B-24 training base. He described how he selected his personal air crews. He skimmed off the most intelligent of the instructor pilots and copilots and navigators for his personal aircrew pool so that when ever he flew he would have only the best trained air crews. He specifically said ‘None of these 100 hour wonders for me. They can learn more by doing over in Europe but I am not risking yours truly with one of them.’
Elites always look out for themselves. The peasants are told their duty is sacrifice and hardship.
Best part about a nuclear car is that tailgating is a problem that solves itself!
“To make electricity, we need to burn something more.”
Yes, ENVIRONMENTALISTS.............
From history.com, “The rationale for Aztec human sacrifice was, first and foremost, a matter of survival. According to Aztec cosmology, the sun god Huitzilopochtli was waging a constant war against darkness, and if the darkness won, the world would end. The keep the sun moving across the sky and preserve their very lives, the Aztecs had to feed Huitzilopochtli with human hearts and blood.”
Maybe we can use the same rationale to combat global warming. The Aztecs volunteered for sacrifice; maybe we can get the climatologists to do the same. It worked for the Aztecs.
