Maryland’s County piggyback tax on the State Income Tax should be enough to drive all productive people from the state.

Maryland counties have been piggybacking county income tax on state income tax for decades. Nothing new here except the rate. The 6% millionaire surtax as I recall dropped the number of filers in that bracket from 3000 to about 1000. so rather than looting another $180 million from the private sector the state lost $120,000,000. There is NOTHING greedier or more rapacious than government or more stupid.
