Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that President Joe Biden’s comments last year about former President Trump’s handling of classified documents were “embarrassing” after the discovery of classified documents at Biden’s residence.
Anchor Chuck Todd said, “Let me start with what we’ve been dealing with President Biden and these classified documents. When you look at the timeline, and it files like a drip, drip, drip, how concerned are you that perhaps the White House is holding back information a bit too much, leaving Democrats out there like yourself in the dark on what to defend or not?”
Stabenow said, “This is very much on how it’s being handled. So President Biden is bringing things forward, they found a small number of documents, they want to make sure there aren’t more, they take it seriously, and they’re talking to all the right people. They’re not going to defy subpoenas or require FBI raids to get the documents. The president isn’t saying that somehow magically when he is thinking about classified documents, he can declassify them. I mean, it’s totally different right now. Both serious, in terms of having classified documents, but the president is doing the right thing.”
Todd said, “You know, the president said what Donald Trump did was careless. Are those words he has to eat?”
Stabenow said, “Well, it’s certainly embarrassing.”
She continued, “It’s embarrassing that you would find a small number of documents, certainly not on purpose. They don’t think it’s the right thing, and they’ve been moving to correct it, working with the Department of Justice, working with everyone involved, with the Archives. So, from my perspective, it’s one of those moments that, obviously, they wish hadn’t happened.”

They are laughing at this. Anyone buying this? Biden’s lawyers find documents and turn him in, Schumer, stabenow and all the communist chorus turn on him. CNN, Don Lemon etc all turn against him. And they find them in his office, in the garage with his corvette etc?

Biden, when asked about Trump’s documents:
“How that could possibly happen, how one anyone could be that irresponsible,” Biden responded. “And I thought what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods. By that, I mean, names of people helped or et cetera.”
“Totally irresponsible,” he repeated.
“Biden’s lawyers find documents and turn him in.”
I want to know where Biden’s lawyers got the idea they needed to search for documents. I want to know why lawyers with no security clearance are being allowed to search for/see govt. documents.
If today anyone in the Democrat party or the media / press finds something Biden says to be embarrassing, their motives are suspect.

Stabenow calls Biden comments on Trump documents ‘embarrassing’
Re #3. This is a very dangerous game, it could easily be the end of the democrats. They will have a civil war in their own ranks.
I believe Biden and his propagandists are falsely minimizing the national security damage risk by singling out the apparently smaller number of “marked as classified” documents in his many caches. Similarly, they falsely make comparisons to PDJT’s Mar A Lago documents having classified markings, even though it is has already been adjudicated that those may presumed declassified by PDJT simply by being removed by and in secure possession a president.
It is very likely that a large percentage of Biden-absconded documents are in fact classified—even though they may not be so marked—by the very nature of their containing Biden communication and notes. By their nature, such documents began their life as classified by definition.
Biden enjoys zero legal presumption of declassification through his possession. Through Biden’s classified docs having been repeatedly handled by those not properly authorized to handle those documents, Biden is almost certainly in legal jeopardy for thousands of classified document mishandlings and improper storage.
The absence of PDJT’s charges to date for mishandling classified documents—despite Garland’s crew’s extreme prejudice to prosecute PDJT—should tell us all we need to know that PDJT is in the clear while Biden and his crew have made countless misrepresentations and have actionably broken the law many times over.
A likely 25th Amendment removal in no way will expunge Biden and crew’s legal exposure, except that Biden’s successor will almost certainly pardon him. That will only add to the negative perception of the Ds for a long and foreseeable future.
