A question for legal freepers, once congress releases all the video footage form Jan 6th, if there is exculpatory evidence can the convicted defendants get a second trial.
Additionally, can federal prosecutors be held liable for withholding said exculpatory evidence from the defense?
Or for making knowingly making false statements to the court when the governments own evidence shows they knew it to be untrue?

I suspect that the answers depend on what court is available when the Feds go Court Shopping.

I dont think so if they pled guilty, and 99% of them did, because they couldn’t afford to fight the FEDs.

Yes, they can; even if the pledge guilty because the government failed to provide them with exculpatory evidence as required by the SCOTUS decision in
Brady v. Maryland.
There also fraud upon the court going back to the Atlas Glass case from around 1932.
