I have backups every day and then keep them for a week, and keep the once a month ones too, back for years.
Too bad simple logic is gone.

Idiotic place I tried to work for had 3 weeks of backups.
AND when the previous programmer had become terminally ill (poor guy) it was a complete silo with no documentation and they let it slide for several months before getting anyone to try and fix it. A woman that had worked on the system for 20 years and was consulting was befuddled.
No admin restrictions on the PCs. No backups. NO anti-virus software.
What a disaster. I had to give up because it was hopeless.
