Yeah... the GOP House voted to repeal Obamacare something like 30 times UNTIL they finally had the Senate and Executive. Suddenly... it stopped happening.

The REAL TEST will be later this year, when the budget for NEXT YEAR, starting in October, will be developed. Will it fund the 87,000 Agents, or will they simply ‘forget’ about that promise, yet again - as that vote will actually have some teeth, and would actually eliminate them.

Well, since there is little possibility of the Senate changing anytime soon, and the votes for the 2024 election are already in production (half of them already for counting), there is, apparently, at least one conclusion:

And now you know why they passed the $1.7 trillion omnibus in December with the lame duck Congress. So that they could have meaningless votes like this in January. The House is basically powerless to do anything about government spending until September.
