In Sept. the house can SEVERELY cut the IRS budget they will then have to find a way to pay for them!!!
Look for the military budget to get re routed.

What good does it do now...they already gave them the money in the omnibus inflation bill...Do they think Bidens handlers will let him sign it...
That train left the station...

Yeah... the GOP House voted to repeal Obamacare something like 30 times UNTIL they finally had the Senate and Executive. Suddenly... it stopped happening.
Forgive me but I’m sick of GOP theatre.

Good. Baby steps, though. This is a base that must be built upon.

The REAL TEST will be later this year, when the budget for NEXT YEAR, starting in October, will be developed. Will it fund the 87,000 Agents, or will they simply ‘forget’ about that promise, yet again - as that vote will actually have some teeth, and would actually eliminate them. The Backstab Party

HUZZAH! Great first step!
I wonder if the House Republicans will vote unanimously to repeal the federal income tax and replace it with the FAIRtax?
Oh, and abolish the IRS in the process?
If you hate the income tax and the IRS, go to http://www.bigsolution.org to find out how to help us make that happen.
We will never be a FRee country so long as we have an income tax and an IRS!

Kabuki theater, since it will die in the Senate. But at least they gave it a vote.

“The republicans can’t pass legislation in their position, amd they won’t get the cooperation from the executive branch that the dems have. all they can do effectively is put on a show, so put on that show.”
BINGO. Exactly right.

"This means absolutely nothing, and next December they will fully fund them in the next omnibus spending bill." Well, since there is little possibility of the Senate changing anytime soon, and the votes for the 2024 election are already in production (half of them already for counting), there is, apparently, at least one conclusion:
With the communist forging ahead by stuffing the ballot box, Americans need to forge ahead with stuffing the ammo box if there is ever going to be a return to individual freedom & liberty...

Symbolic. The funds have been provided already and the Senate and WH will not approve this bill. Waste of time.

And now you know why they passed the $1.7 trillion omnibus in December with the lame duck Congress. So that they could have meaningless votes like this in January. The House is basically powerless to do anything about government spending until September.
