I believe the Hero, who was also a victim was in a state of Shock/Fear when he fired the shots including the last one. With the faces of the other potential innocent victims running thru his mind he was paralyzed by fear and concern for their lives. At that moment an instinctive survival mode took over coupled with Fear/Shock and he sprang to action.
This man is a Hero.
What you believe and feel doesn’t matter when it comes to law.
You can believe and feel whatever you want. However the law is the law
He’s going to face charges.
Like I said, if I was on the jury, unless they can show he has a pattern/past that shows he is a greater societal threat if I’m on the jury I would vote to acquit, but reality is he is going to face charges.
Hero might be a bit strong considering the head shot. And likely not the first time he shot someone. More like a hit man p.o.ed at having his dinner spoiled.
Regardless the patrons were all in fear of their lives from the robber who wont try that again.
