Just received our SS payouts for last year.
So we continue to pay, and then repay for Medicare, and if we take out more in our IRA we face an increase in Medicare costs.
The scam of SS and how it morphed quite telling..
Many think Medicare is free due to the Medicare for all mantra and the media doesn’t discern between Medicaid and Medicare perpetuating the myths.
Until September, the Rep controlled House is toothless except for its investigative powers. And will McCarthy and the GOP have the cajones to leverage the upcoming debt ceiling hike? Or will they cave as a government shutdown looms?
The first bill the Reps are going top pass is the elimination of the 87K IRS agents. Meaningless. The agents have been funded and the Senate and the WH will kill such a bill. Is this the kind of tilting at windmills approach we can expect over the next two years?

I just went on Medicare this month. I did early Social Security last year.
My $164 a month for Part B was one dollar less than my SS inflation raise.
So basically, for a year of 8% (and more, we know it was closer to 16%) inflation, I got 1 dollar.
I used to make a lot of money and paid a lot into SS. Now I’m reaping the benefits! LOL!
One whole dollar!

Sadly, AmericaFirst patriots make up less than 20 Congress critters.
Spitting on Jordan won’t change that, but encouraging/demanding they all follow their own rhetoric will... At least a few, and I think Jordan is one of them.

And “comprehensive reform” sounds so reasonable, so lofty, right up there with “for the children.”
To be honest, Medicare isn't as different as we might like to think. The individual rates of Medicare are subsidized about as heavily.
