I wish the GOP Senate had stood up to McConnell like this.
Sadly, the Senate is way swampier than the House. In comparison to McConnell, McCarthy is almost MAGA. But there are better candidates than McCarthy, and we should pursue them as much as is possible if we have the opportunity.
