He is gullible and trusts too much. He absolutely does not have time to research and do all the homework for a personal decision about many many matters. So he delegates this work out to those he thinks are trusted to know and follows their recommendations.

If you were the owner of a huge diverse corporation would you have the time?

If you were the President of the United States would you have the time?

No... You would delegate it to someone you trust to get those details for you. And you would have every reason to think you can trust them. Until you find out they threw you under the bus and steered you wrong.

Despite this situational drawback, And unlike many Presidents and politicians before him, Trump does have a few very positive and personally strong principles that he would never budged on and would not relent no matter what advice he was given. And those principles are what made him a good President despite his gullibility. And those few principles just happened to be our own principles and good for our nation.
