I heard somewhere that Luntz and potential house Speaker McCarthy are “room mates”?

Is that actually true?

Allegedly, McCarthy lives in a DC apartment that is owned by Luntz according to some sources. I am not clear if he is still living there or not. This article has the reaction from Tucker Carlson.

Which is it, Kevin? GOP leader either broke DC housing rules by renting just one room in Frank Luntz’s $25k-a-month apartment OR flouted ethics rules by getting a cheap deal.

McCarthy, the most senior Republican in the House, stayed at Luntz’s home
Luntz, a pollster, was formerly staunchly Republican but now criticizes the party.

On Sunday McCarthy confirmed he had stayed at Luntz’s $4.3m DC penthouse
His spokesman said that it was due to the pandemic making hotels complicated.

House ethics rules mean that ‘fair market rate’ must be paid for accommodation
Luntz’s condo rules, it emerged on Tuesday, forbid the renting of just a room.

Fair market rate for the entire 7,000-sq-ft home would be $25,000 a month
If McCarthy did not pay that, he either violated House or condo rules.
