I had no idea Russia has a high abortion and divorce rate. Suppose these are symptoms of economic difficulties. Plus Russia is suffering a population drop, as people are leaving and not having kids.
The whole belief by some here that Russia is a moral force in the world makes little sense.
Even if Zelensky dressed in absurd costumes on a television show before becoming a politician, Ukrainians are a very traditional, Christian people.
To anyone who’s ever met Ukrainians the idea they are anything but a very traditional people is silly.

It’s not that we claim they are ‘moral’, it’s that we see that Russia has never demanded that Western countries end the use of fossil fuels, allow Drag Queen parades and grooming of kids, allow sex changes on kids, end the consumption of meat and replace it with bugs, etc.
Those things bother more than a few of us here, and Russia is NOT pushing them...but others are, the ones in power supporting Ukraine.
