Whoopi Goldberg is again receiving criticism for her false claims about the Holocaust. In an interview published with The Sunday Times of London on Saturday – the sixth day of the Jewish holiday Hanukkah – the actor and "The View" co-host reiterated her claims that the Holocaust "wasn't originally" about race.
Goldberg first made the public statements on an episode of "The View" about 10 months ago, saying at the time that "the Holocaust isn't about race," but rather, "inhumanity to man."
She later apologized and was suspended from the show for two weeks for her comments.
But she is now sticking to her claims.
In the interview with The Sunday Times, Goldberg – whose real name is Caryn Johnson and goes by a self-given name she has said comes from a Jewish relative – said there is division about whether Judaism is a race or a religion. That's when the interviewer noted that to the Nazis, it was a race, hence the Holocaust, which resulted in the deaths of an estimated 6 million Jews.

Whoopi chooses to remain ignorant, and obviously refuses to learn actual history. Blacks were considered inferior to the Nazis. She should have known that based on the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Germany had a large influx of blacks from their African colonies after WWI. Some of them had fought on the side of Germany in that war. They weren’t considered German citizens during the Nazi regime, and were not allowed to apply for citizenship. They weren’t allowed to hold jobs, or go to school. If a black had married a white German woman, the marriage was dissolved, and black males were castrated. They also castrated black children. Some blacks were murdered outright by the Nazis, and estimates say between 25,000 and 50,000 black Germans died in concentration camps. The Nazis were intent on creating their own “Master Race” by eliminating those races they believed were unclean. So tell me again Whoopi, that the holocaust wasn’t about race.
Now we know why the blacks in charge in Chicago leave the black criminals alone to slaughter blacks.......It’s black on black crime and since it’s not the KKK slaughtering blacks, who cares...
Many of us know. Those she used to pay to fly her around. Her and her machine gun toting thugs in her security detail.
She’s operating with one definition of race, and Hitler was operating with another, and she’s too stupid to recognize that distinction. Everything about Nazism as a belief system came down to race, whether “Aryans” (sic), Slavs or Jews. Just because in the US today they might all be seen as “white” does not mean the Nazis weren’t explicitly racist.
For many black people, including Miss Johnson, the only ‘race’ that matters is the black race. The only ‘racist crimes’ that matter are those that happen to black people. Blacks are demanding reparations in California for housing discrimination—this in a state where it was against the law for Chinese people to own property.
The only ‘diversity’ that counts is when it comes to black people. No one cares if there are no Latino coaches in the NBA, black coaches are ‘under-represented’. No whites starters on an NBA team—that has nothing to do with anything.
The fact that Hitler considered Jews to be a subhuman race means nothing to Caryn Johnson because to her the only race that matters is the black race.
Why anyone cares what she ‘thinks’ is beyond me.

Fat, homely and ignorant are a bad combination.
More ignorant than hateful. I hope. But when ignorance, willful ignorance, reaches a certain critical level, operationally it is indistinguishable from hatred.
Unintended Consequences
My conclusion? Whoopie started off as a light comedy actress and entertainer. She thrives off of the audience reaction, be it pro or on. The Whoopster just needs a fresh double-dose of
attention, plain and simple.
Since Meghan McCain left that show, the remaining Hens have to take turns stirring the pot, inventing things to fight about.
This two week period closing out the year is marked on the Staff Calendar as ‘Whoopie’s Turn to ‘Make Trouble’.

So, is she saying that cultural bias against a race is neccessarily more abhorrent than the same when applied to creed?
It’s like intersectionality, only the other way round.
She’s just arguing about terminology. It’s like a Jew-hater who says he’s not an anti-Semite, because the Semites include Arabs, and since he likes the Arabs therefore he’s not an anti-Semite.
And I will reiterate, This woman is an embarrassment to black people. The ultra racist in-law that most would knock in the head and lock up in the basement.

The geneticist, Harry Ostrer, in his latest book, Legacy: A Genetic History of the Jewish People, is very keen to present all of the genetic evidence that apparently demonstrates that we, the Jewish People, are a race. I'm not coming from a place of liberal discomfort with geneticists looking at our differences. Yes, there are Ashkenazi genes, Sephardi genes, Levitical genes, and so on. And, yes, looking at these genetics commonalities can be tremendously beneficial to our understanding of medicine and more. But, we, as a people, are not defined by our genes. We are not a race.....A race, whatever that notion really means, is certainly not something that can be joined.....almost every generation of the Jewish people has welcomed non-Jews into its midst. In fact, given any contemporary Jew, it is statistically inconceivable that there shouldn't be a single convert anyway up their family tree. Admittedly, members of the tribe of Levi claim an unbroken patrilineal chain all the way back to Abraham; but there are bound to be converts on some of the maternal branches of their family tree. There is no such thing as a racially pure Jew. We are not a race.
The NAZIS saw everything through the lens of race. The fact is that Jews come in all colors and body characteristics. Jews encompass people who are blond, with petite noses and light complexion to black haired, long hook noses with black complexion - and everything in between.
IMHO, there is some comparison as to how people see Jews and Latinos as a 'race'. I.e., Latinos come in all colors shapes and body characteristics. They do not share a common DNA. IMHO - Latinos like Jews are defined primarily by culture and language - and not DNA.
On a humorous note, I enjoy watching Hogan's Heros. What many don't know is that many of the actors are Jews. Jews poking fun at NAZIS ... very, very funny!!
You missed my point, was more of a rhetorical question.
