She comes on in the first minute.
I had heard this sequence before. And, she is right.
The Russian “negotiation” style is thus:
1) Demand the maximum;
2) Present ultimatums (i.e., threats);
3) Never give an inch.
It was the standard during the days of the Soviet Union and is the standard today with Russia.
