When we were visiting family, in NYC (who thankfully moved to Texas!).....we would see rats, but, never the roaches.

The rats were freaky enough. They scampered through the park, like they owned the place. 😱

I guess they did!

As I said I worked in NYC and demolished lots of old buildings and I've seen rats as big as cats. No joke. These were not laboratory type rats or small ones.

These were truly big, brown, filthy and aggressive.
