I do wonder how many people stuck in all that weren't let go early from their jobs, as had happened to me a few times.
I lived downtown for four of my eight years in Buffalo and I was stuck a few times but I recall that the mood was one of cooperation. People always had shovels, tow chains, salt and kitty litter in their cars. After we shoveled the driveway, walk and the street spots, we would walk to the pizza or taco place and push cars out along the way. I don’t think this new generation has the fortitude to do what needs to be done.
