Merry Christmas rodguy. Happy New Years. Always love your comments. I see it got down to the 40s in the Keys. A real cold snap.
I have lived here since 1970. This is the first time I can ever remember rolling blackouts. And, we’ve had weather worse than this in the past. My gut tells me it has to do with green energy. We have also seen a huge population increase from the Northeast. I hardly recognize my community any longer.
Those RPPCs (Real People Postcards) with children and Santas are valuable, at least compared to artist renderings. Nothing like the Halloween ones, though.
OK, what do you mean by "snort" here? I was under the impression that you really liked the young man.
The radio sports guys were talking about the NFL delay and believed the delay was “in solidarity” with citizens. Sheesh
Bu all means, let me explain.
I actually insert an audible snort when Hunter first come to meet for whatever reason. He understands as he describes himself as an extreme right-winger (which I’m not sure he should tell people that), and he despises Hunter Biden and he is now disliking his first name.
Yes, I think, so far, he’s a fine young man and my granddaughter loves him. They share the house they are renting with another adult. Said adult phones up Hunter and Kaitlyn yesterday and told him that he tested for Covid.
Well I feel fine today, knocking on wood. Kaitlyn and Hunter said they are going to make him lock himself in his room.
Moving on.....
Merry Christmas, all!
So glad Gary Sinise is on Maria’s show today. Gary starred in a fantastic Christmas movie, “A Midnight Clear.” He is part of a tiny recon squad during the opening days of the Battle of the Bulge. His squad encounters his German counterparts who all want the war to end, so they can return to their loved ones at home. There’s a beautiful scene of both “enemies” singing “Silent Night” a la 1914.
Alas, tragedy strikes...
Merry Christmas to Gary Sinise!
Merry Christmas to Maria Bartiromo!
Merry Christmas to all Freepers and families. Just got power restored. We have very high winds and many downed trees.
May 2023 bring health and happiness to all.
Oh, thank God! It’s just too cold for that.
My rich neighbor the retired lawyer and cattle rancher and his wife usually go to their luxury condo in Gulf Shores for Christmas...
This year they took the grand kids to... Dollywood. I don’t know how cold it gets up in the Tennessee mountains, but I saw the Sevierville was 7 degrees this morning...
Great memento from a true believer in the promise of America.
Central America - they even have ESPN and all your favorite satellite stations!(whoopie!)
