Since there’s no restraints on these clowns other a public who’s happy to be bribed what do you expect. The public wants their turn (However minuscule!) at the taxpayer trough!

Repeal the 17th Amendment!
State legislatures couldn’t pick worse senators!

Also, term limit the House!

The only actions voters can take on a Congre$$ that continues to pass these spending bills withoutnreading nnthem is to vote them out of office and maybe a tax payer revolt. Not that I am saying don’t pay taxes. Just delay paying them in advance.

It is already destroyed. Now we are just watching the sledgehammer blows crumble what is left to dust.

“So in my opinion, the election changes do nothing to harm our democracy, but also do nothing to protect it. They do not address what needs to be addressed.”

Well, the important thing is that they did SOMETHING to prevent another January 6th.

Does this mean we’ll go from January 5th directly to the 7th from now on?

RIGHT IN TIME FOR THE LAST FLIGHT OUT OF DC...

JUST IN CASE MISSED IT:

The package contains a major boost to military spending and nearly $45 billion in assistance to Ukraine. It overhauls federal election law by revising the Electoral Count Act of 1887 to try to prevent another Jan. 6. The bill funds a swath of domestic programs as well, averting a shutdown and keeping the government funded through next fall.

Bit by bit, week by week, we are watching the destruction of our country.

Watching it? We're supporting it.

Add to this our TV subscriptions that are funding the media that lies about Trump and us.

I’m sorry Mr. Franklin, the Republic is doomed. We couldn’t keep it.

Bump!

bill that rewrites U.S. election law

Snaky B--Tards. BUT, will a bill change the constitution? Remember the Constitution is the restraint upon the Fed. Gov. Those powers not expressly given to the Fed Gov are retained by the States and the people. The Constitution clearly states who establishes the election laws. The Constitution can only be changed by an Amendment. (much more difficult)

The #ComDem's have no respect for the rule of law or the constitution. This will be the battle lines from here on out. They want us where there will never be another honest election. They know that is the only way they stay in power forever. (careful with that word, forever)
