A BS statement. Hospitals are like hotels, they do not make money off empty beds. And, just like hotels, they have staff that work hard to fill those beds.
Here in Southern Oregon the hospitals are full. Waiting times in the ER are often 8+ hours and there are people lined up in hallways waiting for a bed to empty.
I personally think it was because Asante fired hundreds of workers who refused to get vaccinated, thus causing a labor shortage.
