SBF is going to cop a plea and the whole thing will go away. No evidence in open court.
FIB/CAI masterminding this whole fraud for Marxist/Dem/Brandon junta theft-funding - they already had the owl girl and RedChina Wang deals cut long ago, before the BK declaration, before the election.
Now it will all just disappear, like Weiner’s laptop. Like the computers and tapes from Epstein’s Island.
Nothing to see here folks.
The whole bail/Bond thing is a scam.
I bailed someone once for 10k it sucked for 2 years even though it was bogus.
Never again.
Mean time to Zelensky post, 18.
It had to be laundered over to key legislators, because they’re not supporting Ukraine out of the goodness of their hearts.
He’ll skip.
Not many bondsman can put up $250 million.
No - you pay a bondsman 10% of the bail.
Then, the bondsman guarantees your appearance in court, and he keeps your 10% because he accepts the full financial risk that you might flee.
No bondsman can afford to cover a $225 million short fall if Bankman decides to run.
Clawback the bail.
SBF is being treated better than George Floyd who only passed a counterfeit 20 and possibly, maybe arguably didn’t follow police directions right. Floyd didn’t steal billions.
He is confined to his parents home in Palo Alto. Humm, thought he was charged in NY. Usually limit travel to the district where the crime is alleged.
250MM, wow. That is not something you reach into your pocket for. Where did it come from? Does he have an unclaimed super lotto ticket winner??
And what’s that got to do with Judaism Adolph?
I don’t understand why everyone seems to be assuming there’s a bondsman. There’s only a bondsman if they got a bond. I know that some people sloppily conflate “bail” with “bond”, but they are different. If the bail is a certain amount, and you bring in that much cash to the jail, you’re good. No bond, no bondsman involved.
And you wouldn’t be “putting up your house”. You might be borrowing against it, but that would be so you could deliver the bond amount to the bondsman. It would be like any other loan against your house, you’d have to pay the loan back to whomever you borrowed it from, because you’re never going to see the money you gave the bondsman again.
I’ve bailed someone out of jail by having me hand their credit card to me and putting the bail on it. No bondsman involved. That was small potatoes, $5k, which he got back before every having to pay it when they dropped the charges.
Another time I bailed someone out it was $100K that the family put up. Again, no bondsman, no bond. And when I say “bailed out”, in both cases I went to the jail where they were being held, did the paperwork, and left with them.
The only time I’ve ever dealt with a bail bond company was when I had to get something notarized on a weekend, having nothing to do with the criminal justice system. Turns out the bonding company has a notary on 24 hour service, so that was the easiest way to get the job done.
No insurer is going to post an unsecured 250 million bond. He’s going to have to come up with the whole thing in cash and property.
1. Black is beautiful
2. I won't do a sex act (copulate)in your mouth
3. The check is in the mail
I thought he was broke.
I think you & I agree on how bail and bonds work. My question is, if no bondsman is involved, how did Refried-Beans’ parents come up with $250M in bail to put down on the barrel head? If a bondsman is involved, how did the parents produce even a portion of the $25M as an initial payment?
I once went the bond for a (penniless) friend. Bail at $110K, and since I am a veteran, 8% bond ($8.8K). Made an initial payment of $3K, and the balance in installments over 10 months. Pricey, but nobody had $110K laying around.
“personal recognizance” bond AND 100% collateral doesn’t have to be posted ... that means the $250,000,000 bond amount is simply kabuki theater, equally as real as the claimed “value” for FTT prior to FTX/alameda implosion ...
It’ll all disappear. Democrats aren’t cheap but it seems anyone can buy them.
