I suppose an illegal alien is now a US pre-citizen?

In America 2.0, the stupidest people are those who went to or work at the best schools.

Many of the terms are only “offensive” if someone wrongly choses to characterize them that way, not because they are inherently so.

But, it is all part of the Leftist cultural destruction process for “your feelings” to mean the “truth” of someone else’s intentions.

“Stanford Journalism alumni are in newsrooms, media organizations and tech companies throughout the world, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Politico, Fast Company, The Verge and Google News.”

And your point is????

First - alumni are past students

Second - you are assuming the alumni are in agreement with what currently comes from Stanford???

My point is of course that the journalists are trained to be anti-American in the universities that promote this and then are hired by the major new outfits that are obviously anti-American.

You are a total jerk as far as I’m concerned. I do not have to ‘make a point’ to you at all, AT ALL.

Read the article and come to your own conclusion.

I have a real problem with the university pretending that the traditional expression of the term "American" is invalid. I like the below quote by Quang Nguyen who escaped from Vietnam and founded Caddis Branding Agency. He said when speaking to a veteran’s organization,

“In 1982, I stood with a thousand new immigrants, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, and listening to the National Anthem for the first time as an American. To this day, I can't remember anything sweeter and more patriotic than that moment in my life…..You see, America is not just a place on the map, it isn't just a physical location. It is an ideal, a concept. And if you are an American, you must understand the concept, you must accept this concept, and most importantly, you have to fight and defend this concept. This is about Freedom and not free stuff. And that is why I am standing up here.”

Two different concepts of Heaven. The socialists want an America that gives them everything and the normal people realize that what is given in America is opportunity.

Great quote.

I know a number of folks from Latin America, both U.S. citizrens and immigrant green card holders. They have no problem with the title American for people of the U.S., as in South and Central America they do not use that title for themselves. The only south of the border folks that object are Leftists, because objecting fits their Leftist agenda against AMERICA - the place and the ideal. Even the few Canadians I know (part of North America) refer to us as Americans, so they too do not agree with the Left-indoctrinated folks at academic “jpurnalism” at Standford.
