A profound lack of understanding of basic military doctrine and even Soviet military doctrine makes me shudder how dumb even some former 4 stars are. The same clowns who lost in Vietnam, a disastrous occupation of Iraq and bleeding out in Afghanistan are going to lecture us about what victory looks like.
