Aren’t such records public info? Doesn’t anymore do any research anymore?
Not sticking up for Joe, but there was the fire in St. Louis VA records facility in the 50’s or 60’s. A lot of veteran’s records were destroyed. My dad, who retired from the Army in 1963 had to fight that problem for years when he went to his VA appointments.
