There was an alternative in the Primary. Was Perdue the best? Nope.
Was he better than sellout Kemp? IMHO, yes.
Just remember how kemp is coddling an EV maker that is partly owned by Soros. Although Soros is apparently dumping his stock. That is what Kemp is bringing to Georgia.
Perdue ran a horrible campaign against Ossoff in the Senate runoff election in January 2021, and Kemp trounced Perdue in the primary election in 2022, 73% to 22%. I can’t remember such an @$$-whipping in a Georgia election between two well-known candidates.
As for Kemp pushing the EV plants near Rutledge and the one near Savannah, any politician in Georgia would do the same, including Perdue if he had won. I think the state gives away too much in the form of tax incentives and infrastructure promises to attract these projects, but unfortunately that’s what (most) politicians do.
