FTX founder Bankman-Fried BEGS Bahamas judge to grant him bail because he's too 'depressed and vegan for jail': His parents leave court to fetch his MEDS - while he's accused of hiding $300m in Brazilian firm BEFORE filing for bankruptcy

A Bahamian judge is allowing Sam Bankman-Fried's parents to leave court in the middle of his arraignment hearing to retrieve anti-depressants, Adderall and Zyrtec.

Bankman-Fried is accused of one of the 'biggest financial frauds in American history' - defrauding investors out of $1.8billion by convincing them his trading platform FTX was safe to use.

He is begging for mercy - asking for $250,000 cash bond - and claiming he can't be thrown in jail because he is depressed and follows a vegan diet.

Prosecutors in the Bahamas are begging a judge not to grant him bail, insisting he is a clear flight risk.

In court on Tuesday, they claimed he had even moved $300million to a Brazilian firm in September 2022, before filing bankruptcy, in a move that they say demonstrates his intention to flee justice.

Bankman-Fried faces 155 years in prison on eight counts of money laundering and fraud. US prosecutors are preparing to charge some of his friends too.

Prosecutors say he used the platform as a 'personal piggy bank' to fund a lavish lifestyle and make whopping political donations.

During proceedings on Tuesday, is Stanford law professor mother, Barbara, laughed when prosecutors referred to him as a 'fugitive'.

He maintains that he did nothing of the sort, and was going to tell Congress today that he could repay all of the people who have lost money 'tomorrow' if his assets were unfrozen, despite previously filing for bankruptcy.

Prosecutors in The Bahamas today argued that he should not be granted bail, insisting that he was a flight risk. He is in court currently in a blue and white shirt, and is not wearing handcuffs.

"So his ex-GF being seen in New York recently was no coincidence then. Likely she had cut a deal with the US attorneys at the Southern District of NY, leading to the arrest. She flipped him for real. LOL."

Yeah, that's not good news at all, especially if that is an Alameda flunkie standing next to her at that coffee snob shop.

If she flipped, she filled in all the blanks SDNY was missing (the rest they had via FV AYES and SBF's diarrhea-of-the-mouth, which may upend this cover-up anyway) and the White Hospice was able to nearly complete their cut-out of Democrat conspirators in the 9 days since that Twotter picture.

"I should have hat tipped to Rush Limbaugh. Man is he sorely missed."

Agreed. Mutt and Jeff ain't cuttin' it, but I know Katherine doesn't care -- she has the Palm Beach mansion/studio up for 150M, and I'm about 149M short -- and if anything, Premiere is grateful he's dead, and from the rest of their lame-azz line-up, they are dedicated now to the laughably futile RINO expedition to undercut Trump.

"So the parents, who are law school professors, have $100 million dollars to drop on a house in another country?"

Barbara Fried is in this ponzi-scheme-to-funnel-millions-to-the-Democrats up to her freaking fugly eyeballs.

They diverted FTX funds with their son to purchase 121M in Bahamian prime, including a $16M grifter's paradise for themselves:

#6: "I seriously think he's f’d up."

He is a 30 year old man child. He doesn't even know how to groom himself like a man. He looks like a 15 year old boy, but he's twice that age: 30 years old.

He appeared for a hearing today, dressed in a cheap ill fitting suit and tie. It looked 20 years out of date, like he picked it off a rack at the thrift store. What's with that hair? Doesn't he have any self awareness? He looks like an adolescent boy. Why would anyone trust him with a dollar?

His pudgy, flabby body is devoid of muscle tone. He presents a young, entitled sloth who has never worked a day in his life.

They grabbed him because he was to testify before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services.

The Deep State Demonrats needed to buy time.

That’s what is so odd to me. He seems like a somewhat autistic person, and people gave him billions?
He stammers when he speaks, and is unkempt.
No way he smooth talked anyone.
It just doesn’t add up to me.

The above link is a draft of his testimony, according to the author. He was to testify to a house committee, but now, can't.

Just for the record, SBF did not kill himself.

He slipped in the shower and "accidentally" hung himself with his "soap on a rope".

Diarrhea of the mouth indeed. Reminds me of the great line in Wolf of Wall Street when Agent Denham yells out "Hey Jordan, let me give you a little legal advice. Shut the f*** up!"

This is the same guy who, when asked if he was "really good at talking about ethics," said
"I had to be. It's what reputations are made of, to some extent…I feel bad for those who get f---ed by it. [B]y this dumb game we woke westerners play where we say all the right shibboleths and so everyone likes us."
Why should the judge believe anything he says now when he's already told reporters he says anything he needs to say to make the deal?

His girlfriend’s father is head of MIT Department of Economics.
The father’s former underling was...Gary Gensler, head of the SEC.
