The judge attended BYU for undergrad and Law. He was also a ten year army reservist. If this goes forward: Lake wins.

I do hope something rather than nothing comes from this. It would be a nice change of pace.

I believe that was Mohave County. ALSO, I read that the MACHINES in Cochise County WERE NOT CERTIFIED AS THE LAW REQUIRES.

Just in case you skipped straight to the comments, let me save you some time. Here’s all the content from the story that the headline suggests:
(T)he County was given until Thursday to file a motion to dismiss, and Lake’s response is due on Saturday.
The trial is set for next week.

Good to know but history has made me a cynic.
A Runbeck whistle-blower is a strong element. It goes without saying, said whistle-blower needs 24-hour protection.

I explained that to one of the county commissioners who is on FR.
They should have never certified that election for a time and filed criminal complaints against the Maricopa people and THEN certified the Mohave county vote.

Kabuki theater. Hobbs will be sworn in as AZ Governor.
A Hobbs win is indeed the most likely outcome, but this particular suit isn't Kabuki theater. In stark contrast to the Lynn Wood/Sidney Powell comedy of errors, it's well argued, and backed by plenty of evidence. If the court grants a hearing on the merits, there's a path to demanding a new election, which would be the appropriate remedy. It's my understanding that there is precendent for exactly that in Arizona.
Regardless, Republicans need to start bringing these cases where there is sufficient evidence of irregulatities. We can't keep letting the Dems steal elections in broad daylight.

I have vivid memories of the
2000 Florida election contest before Judge Sanders Sauls:
In conclusion, the court finds that [Al Gore has] failed to carry the requisite burden of proof and judgment shall be and hereby is entered that plaintiffs shall take nothing by this action and [George Bush] may go hence without delay.
