I think renaming the school is a great idea. And to carry it even further, every adult in the school should be required to speak only in the language of their ancestors. So for example, if you’re of Italian descent you must speak only in Italian while on school grounds.

Sure, this will cause the school some expense as they’ll have to provide Rosetta Stone programs to folks who don’t know the old languages. But I think it would be worth it.
