In many ways the Musk takeover of Twitter has exceeded my expectations. It’s like having a good dream, but waking up and it actually is happening.

Well, you liberal dip wads, you had a chance to maintain control of Twitter but then you sued him to force him to buy at the proffered price. He bought Twitter and now it is his. You are getting some of your just desserts. Was the suit worth it?

But I am a helpful person, so the Employment Development Department is about a block down the street. Repeat after me. “You want fries with that?”

Agreed. It's also a shot over the bow of Facebook. "I could absolutely take your company, Mark."

In fact if Elon had both, he would have incredible economies of scale on ad revenue, eyes-on-ads, and remarkably, one of the largest granular personal data troves in the world. From there, we could punch back hard.

One of the great equalizers about to happen is that that someone is going to assemble a Wikileaks of personal data leaked from all social media, exponentially greater than 2016's email cache.

IMs, DMs, posts, searches, purchases, likes -- it is inevitable.
