I follow the crime blogs/msg boards about crime, and lately the Idaho murders...

guess what?...nearly all posters say that its routine for the "students" to get plastered over long weekends....that everybody drank heavy ....

most of them are underage and yet its just wink wink nod nod....universities do not care.....

Where in the world have you been???

I know that at least thirty, maybe forty, years ago either Playboy or Penthouse used to put out their annual list of the best partying colleges and universities. Just in time to help the young’uns decide which to attend. Now just do a web search and be inundated.

Yep! When I went to college in the early 1990s, they were claiming that “we were allowed to drink” underage while on campus.

And I thought...so the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania somehow are suspended at the campus border?

Just a small introduction to the antinomianism of liberals.

That’s not totally accurate. The biggest frat/sorority houses have been moving off campus, like the one in Idaho, because universities have tried to get a handle on underage drinking and hazing.

I agree with you, the universities could do a Hell of a lot more. I expect to see some minuscule reforms to spring up after they solve this terrible multiple homicides.
