Many here predicted a red wave as well. It was stunning the predictions knowing the Supreme Court decision on abortion gave democrats the incentive to get their voters out. And I’m not sure the decision helped. Before, we had limits and now states have abortion on demand at any time. in the states that are trying to ban it completely, they are getting stopped in the courts, so how does it help?
Concur on the abortion decision; I agreed with it but the timing was devastating and then we had fools like Lindsay Graham calling for a nationwide abortion ban right before the election (I still suspect he was told to say this by others). The other thing that made me question the pending results was Newt Gingrich and Clinton’s adviser, Dick Morris, predicting a red tsunami a week before the election. They are always wrong.
Remember the political forecast at the beginning of 2022. Republicans take House, Dems keep Senate or Tie (too many R seats open). Well….
