Closing arguments ended Friday in the criminal trial of the Trump Organization with New York prosecutors urging the jury to put aside politics and the company’s namesake and focus simply on the fraud allegations against it – despite accusing Donald Trump of knowing about the schemes in real time.
The jury is expected to begin deliberations on Monday, but before court ended Friday, defense attorneys moved for a mistrial after prosecutor Josh Steinglass told the jury that Trump must have known about the tax crimes and “sanctioned” some of them....

Defense seems to have a point that prosecution made statements that have noe prejudiced the jury.
Hopefully, this will lead to a mistrial.
I can’t see how a jury in New York is going to support Trump in their decision, and make no mistake about it, this remains more than anything a simple popularity contest for the simple minded voter.

Of course, the fact that he’s a presidential candidate doesn’t slow down the left from filing charges... unlike republicans who won’t file charges even when the video evidence is handed to them with the guilty party defiling 10 yr olds
