It really doesn’t matter what kind of majority they have IMO. Big or small, if you have no principles or convictions what difference does it make?

The GOP really doesn’t stand for anything so in effect McCarthy is their perfect “leader”.

My 2 cents... slim majorities provide the best opportunities for minorities to use leverage in deals.

Heard Russ Voight say this is the way Mark Meaodows got rid of Boehner. Said that they have their own set of rules apart from Dems and the threat if people like Liz Cheney getting voted in is not hoping to happen.
