We’ll see about ‘collecting ballots’. There weren’t a lot of mail-in ballots in the general election. Dems in GA were complaining about having to go back to in-person voting due to rules about using mail-in ballots.
The numbers I saw about mail-in ballots in ‘Rat hole Fulton County were about 750,000 registered voters and 23,000 mail in ballots were counted in the general election in Fulton. If you take into account the elderly and disabled, that’s not a lot.
Turn out in MAGA Country in NW GA is very heavy. Turn out in all rural areas is heavy. Turn out in blue metro areas is very heavy. Long lines everywhere to vote. The only real positive I’ve heard is that blacks outside the metro areas aren’t turning out in the same numbers as in the general election in Nov.
I think Walker is still behind the eight-ball. I’ve heard him speak in-person, and he come across very well, a lot more impressive than many folks imagine.
However Dems have been running non-stop ads and the ads are very effective. Walker’s issue in the past are hurting him and the Dems have spent millons upon millions of dollars hammering him.
I live in Rathole Fulton. Today turnout in Northside of County—more red —was heavy 2 hour waits. South county deep blue—4 minutes to vote—very light.
After the Dem lead over the weekend, the Rural and GOP areas have been catching up nicely.
But Warnock’s ads of late (I see them in the western tip of NC) have been so utterly nasty that it makes me think he just might be in trouble.
