As we learn from what happened in Hong kong, to control the people you don’t need to choose who wins. You only need to control who are the final candidates.
The people are like a little kid who wants bedtime to be 9:00. But he has to choose between mom who says 7, and dad who says 7:15. That’s not a choice. It’s only the illusion of choice. And frankly, we’ve been living under that for about the last 22 years.
Like Claire wolf said, don’t vote. It only encourages them. It is pretty clear at this point that our problems are not going to be solved by the ballot box.
Interesting point. This last general election for the first time I had almost more blanks on the ballot than filled in circles. Except for the passel of Judges that I voted for that in retrospect I should have also left blank.
