The FDA is as concerned about public health as the CDC. Financial support for these organizations has escalated from just being a waste of money to being a grossly harmful waste of money.
Defund FDA. Replace with many scientifically educated citizen panels. Give advice, but not binding.
Defund CDC. Make them track contagious diseases only, and give some,but not binding, advice.
This has to start at grass-root levels.
