If it were only that! Bystanders would be somewhat harmless. But we have two classes of people, producers and takers living off the producers. The fraction of takers has been growing for about 60 decades ever since LBJ ruined the nation.
Exactly. We’re seeing the same specific concern that led the founders to require land ownership play out. The takers starting to vote for freebies until the producers are tapped out. Essentially socialism which is doomed to failure implemented by vote.
