Fear of seeming racist prompts ACS to endanger black children

t looks like racism just took two more young black lives — but this is left-wing racism, pushing child-welfare workers not to remove children from dangerous homes on the grounds that the system finds “too many” black parents who pose a threat to their kids.

Saturday night, 11-month-old Octavius Canada and his brother DeShawn Fleming, 3, were found dead in their apartment at a Bronx homeless shelter. Their mother, Dimone Fleming, confessed to stabbing them to death, believing they were possessed by demons.

Like so many similar tragedies, sources informed The Post that the Administration for Children’s Services probed Fleming shortly after DeShawn’s birth. It’s unclear how the case got resolved, or what followup ACS did.

The Post article also noted:

Deep in its report, the Times also noted that its own “analysis of 83 child homicides from 2016 to 2022 found that Black children in the city were killed in cases where family members were charged at about seven times the rate for white and Asian children and three times the rate for Hispanic children.”

That's besides the Times' racist habit of not capitalizing "white" when combined with "Black" references.

Also Black babies in the womb are murdered by their mothers at over 5 times the rate (per 1,000 live births) that White babies in the womb are murdered by their mothers.

I read about this case elsewhere. The mother is clearly insane. She hears voices and has conversations with the thin air. She firmly believes Satan is dominating those around her and had targeted her children as they were too young to resist the demons. She killed her children to protect them from becoming demons. Her children will go to heaven, that was the only way she could ‘save’ them. I would be curious to know where this woman’s family of origin hailed from. Demon possession is a filtered African tribal religion belief that has gotten interwoven into black popular culture in the Carolina low country and in southern Louisiana and in the river parishes in Louisiana. It is a powerful bit of folk religion and people who are mentally ill, as this woman clearly is, frequently become overwhelmed by it.

None the less, this woman should have been institutionalized and her children placed in foster care. I know of a white family in the Cajun Country who pretty much adopted the two children of woman like this who worked on their farm. Back then the woman was just called ‘bewitched’ by black and white people. The two children did alright, ended up going to all black Southern U, (this was back in the day) and the girl became a school teacher and the boy a dentist in New Orleans.
Life may not have been perfect, but for those two innocents it turned out a hell of a lot better than for these two in these woke progressive days
