It was a couple of preachers, collars on backwards, and all, who wrote this 114 thing. They were hiding behind their pulpit and may have some personal problems because of that. Tax exemption and all? This didn’t come from gov’t directly but was an initiative. I expect these preachers will have some new life experiences since part of their bill had already been killed by the Supremes. But in the mean time it’s going to hurt some folks.

From reading comments by others on here, Oregon has had mass mail in voting since the 90s. And right after that it went Left, then hard Left. Guess that’s the reason that a few of the eastern counties have voted to secede.
It’ll be nice to see the whole thing overturned. What would be even better would be for some of the Sheriffs in the Eastern part of the state, quickly come up with some sort of class to certify instructors.
Easiest thing in the world would be for those interested in becoming an instructor, take the same class that the cops take. Hold them to the same standards for shooting, etc. They pass and they can teach. Going to be hard to argue anything if they can prove that they met or exceeded the same standards as the cops.
