Gator, there are presently five NATO countries on Russia’s border(s); and soon to be six when Finland becomes a member. Yet, there has been no escalation because of that.
Is Finland going to be approved? What does Turkey say?
All countries aren’t the same, and have different people ethnically, culturally, and historically. Their relationship with Russia differs.
This is a European problem, and the US and Turkey don’t belong in NATO.
How long has the US provided military defense of Europe, while they funded their Socialism and very little to defense?
