It’s our thirst to understand “why” someone would carry out such a horrific act that drives our curiosity and animates our search for a political villain in these mass shootings.
Answers are always few and very unsatisfying. Trying to ascribe rational, logical thought processes to someone who is mentally ill is an exercise in futility. It doesn’t matter if he leaves a right-wing manifesto railing against blacks and Jews or swears allegiance to Antifa and claims to want to stamp out “fascism.” “Politics” — a shooter’s limited understanding of it — isn’t a catalyst as much as it is a touchstone to a reality of which he or she is only vaguely aware.
The most recent incident led to a familiar pattern. A man walked into a gay club where a drag queen show was underway. Before he was stopped, five people were killed and 18 were wounded. Given the gunman’s “target,” it was “naturally” assumed that the perpetrator was a right-wing fanatic who was driven to this mass slaughter by conservative politicians and online hate sites (like PJ Media).

Anyone who thinks the left cares about “why” is an idiot.
Why it serves their purpose. The gullible only see their first salvo of blame. Never the later actual reasons.

They don’t need to wait. They publish their accusation that “Republicans are to blame” as the screaming headline, and bury the correction a day or two later. All the oblivious public remembers are the lies.
Yup, the bad news and the allegations are always on the first page, the retractions are on the help wanted ads page.
Their deception is their secret of success. They come out with the lies, knowing that fully 50 percent of the sheople will believe them and never hear the correction.
They never recant their error, so those who limit their media spectrum never get the correction. The damage is permanent.
They have to keep the narrative of the conservative, white MAGA shooter who hates everyone not like him going.

No. Because it works. People remember the phony narrative and not the actual facts sometimes reported days, even weeks, later. Helps reinforce the false perceptions desired.
We need to throw this right back in their snide faces. They need to be embarrassed, ridiculed and besmirched just like they do every day to us. BTW, it is happening now on Twitter. Read some of the comments under Robert “Shorty” Reichhhhhhhhhhhhha’s (Rush) Tweets. It’s delicious.

Will the right(GOP) or even people in general standup? & tell the left to ES&D? I am tired of the constant bashing both racial and political. This crap is dangerous. It is not good or healthy for my family or community and certainly the nation at large. And all the ‘equity’ crap? You can shove that too!
