What’s wrong of living next to the oil well? Oil is a natural resource, basically organic. Nothing artificial!

I'd definitely rather live near an oil well than near a windfarm. I lean toward Thomas Gold's theory that oil is a renewable resource that comes from deep within the earth - nothing to do with fossils.
