I’m with you to a certain extent. I see it this way: SpaceX is the endgame in a self-sufficient golden triangle of tech that feeds off of the sales and development of Starlink (network comms), Tesla (energy), and Twitter (financial). I’m waiting to see when he gets into food science.

It’s the ultimate distraction. All war is deception.

Starlink upsets all apple carts. 1500 miles off the Pacific Coast of the US and you get 160M down and 25M up. Every time SpaceX takes a commercial or military order, 60 more Starlink satellites go up with that payload. It is a brand new playing field with a company that has a commercially unassailable competitive advantage.

The only thing that can screw him up is government. That’s their job in the economy, after all - the barrier to entry and exit, if you believe Porter.
