Science tells us that the rational part of a teen’s brain isn’t fully developed and won’t be until age 25.

So maybe 25 would be a better start point for voting!

Why not lower the voting age to 5?

Don't rule that possibility out if the Democrats think it will help them steal elections.

“I’m not sure about this.

If you can get a driver’s licnese, should you be able to vote?

If you can have a bank account (that doesn’t require a named parent/guardian), should you be able to vote?”

By that argument, why shouldn’t adults be able to have consenting sex with 16 and 17 years old? The reason we don’t allow that is because we know that many 16 and 17 year olds are not mature enough to always make good decisions. BTW. I’m not sure they should be driving either without an adult present.

NZ’s trip down the rabbit hole started years ago when they voted in a government that disbanded the armed forces, leaving only a skeletal coast guard/sar cadre.

They are 100 percent dependent on Australia, the Commonwealth and America for ALL defensive needs.

Go further back than that:

In February, 1985 a port visit request by the United States for Buchanan was refused by New Zealand, as Buchanan was capable of launching nuclear depth bomb-equipped ASROCs. Following the victory of the New Zealand Labour Party led by David Lange at elections in 1984, the Parliament of New Zealand enacted a law which barred nuclear-powered or nuclear-armed ships from using New Zealand ports, citing the dangers of nuclear weapons and continued nuclear testing in the South Pacific. Given that the United States Navy refused to confirm or deny the presence of nuclear weapons aboard ships, these laws in effect refused access to New Zealand ports for all ships of the United States Navy.

New Zealand is lost. Let the Chinese navy sail into her ports...it’ll happen sooner or later.

Thirty might be better. There’s so much mental damage out there.
