The White House recently announced that it was funding a five-year research plan for a controversial proposal to fight climate change by geoengineering — i.e., technologies and processes that can be used to artificially modify the Earth's climate.
This research would be dedicated specifically to a form of geoengineering known as "solar radiation management," which involves spraying fine aerosols into the atmosphere to reflect sunlight away from the Earth. The hope is that, once the sunlight is reflected, less heat will be generated, and ergo temperatures will go down. Presto: actual anthropogenic climate change! A global SPF 100, as it were!
The research reportedly will attempt to model how solar radiation management might impact the atmosphere, as well as assess its viability as a potential technique to be employed to "manage near-term climate risk."
They're hoping to fight the scourge of climate change by blindly trying to change the climate? What is it with Democrats? They're also fighting racism with racial quotas and making race the primary consideration in, well, everything. That's working well, isn't it? Next, they'll propose fighting drug abuse by giving out free needles and crack pipes. Oh wait, they're already doing that. Why haven't they yet suggested we combat STDs by having indiscriminate sex with as many other people as possible?
Now they're going to "cancel" the sun, without which life on Earth would be impossible? What could go wrong?!
And would this be a unilateral decision? "Hope the rest of you guys don't mind, but we're blocking the sun! Oops, we didn't expect that! Our bad. Sorry, might be a bit chillier than we'd like for a while!"

Sure, Klain’s got his mitts in this particular announcement, but this is part of a horrific, global effort.
And forty five years ago the same eggheads proposed to mine coal, grind it to dust, mix it with oil and spread it on the glaciers to stop THE COMING ICE AGE which was all the rage in the 1970s.
Now it is glo-bull warming as they try to clean up all the articles written in the 1970s about THE COMING ICE AGE.

Meanwhile the last two weeks have been almost as cold as it was back in Thanksgiving 1976. Brutal!

I told my wife years ago that if you want to stop “AGW” take the scrubbers off the coal plant stacks and get back to spewing particulates into the atmosphere. It’s not hard to see that all this supposed warming started right after they started scrubbing plant emissions.
But I do have a question for Joe. Have any of these clowns considered the effect cutting down the amount of sunlight hitting the earth will have on the solar energy we’re all supposed to live on? First, we totally switch to wind and solar. Then we reduce the amount of solar radiation reaching Earth surface. What a bunch of idiots we have ruling over us today.

Let’s cut down sunlight while reducing CO2 in the atmosphere. What could possibly go wrong. Let’s see plants need both to grow, and plants produce food and oxygen. So, let’s kill all the plants. Great idea Joe.
Basically the same as a large volcano going off and blocking out sunlight. The effects:
1. Less solar power generation, due to weaker sunlight intensity.
2. Less rainfall, due to less evaporation of water.
3. Less wind, due to lower temperature* differentials on the planet.
*temperature differentials lead to pressure differentials which cause air to move (wind).
So, less production of alternative power (due to weaker wind and solar energy sources) and likely less food production (due to less rainfall).
Even so, I SUPPORT THE IDEA, because we’re going to get more volcano blowouts whether we like it or not, so we might as well learn the effects of them on our alternative-energy economy.

A volcano erupted and spewed so much ash into the air that the sun was partially blocked for a year. So we have some kind of data on this, undoubtably it has happened before in the Earth’s history.

Well that may be, but now it seems they are serious and getting ready to do it for real. Before it was just so much posturing.
I’m sure that they can do just as good of a job with this as they did with the covid vaccine. We are overdue for a big volcanic eruption or two. Maybe these fools can help drive us straight into a full on ice age.
It’s all tied in to the global climate change, ESG, carbon credit, CBDC/social credit, depop stuff that they have indeed been taking quite seriously for some time now.
It has taken them decades and decades to strangle the globe administratively.
