DeSantis is a true conservative and a winner. That really scares you.
There is trend among some Trump-or-die folks which is very unhealthy personally and politically. They accuse him of future sins. Ron, they say, MUST be planning to be bad because Paul Ryan hearts him. Or something. Yet we have history to show Trump already loving up with Ryan - TrumpRyanCare. And with McCarthy now.
Trump is a populist. DeSavage, from the start of his political career, has been a Freedom guy. Founding member of the HFC. The group that saved us from TrumpRyanCare.
I do believe Big Ron's treasure chest benefits from Trump's high negatives. That is the nature of politics. Just like Trump driving sky high Dem turn-out, he also drives high funding for non-Trump candidates.
It is no crime for Ron to benefit from the political gravity of donation flows.
It is unlikely Don or any other politician would turn down the money going to Ron.
I like Desantis too. However, if they take out Trump you have to realize they will do the same to Desantis.
